From Kyoto Station
The simplest rail connection and usually the fastest option.
- Take the JR Nara Line from Kyoto Station to Inari Station.
- Leave Inari Station; the shrine’s main approach is directly outside.
From Gion-Shijo Station
A convenient Keihan Railway route from the Gion area.
- Take a southbound Keihan train that stops at Fushimi-Inari Station.
- Walk east for about five minutes from the station to the shrine.
From Kiyomizu-dera
Combine a walk through Higashiyama with the Keihan Railway.
- Walk downhill through Higashiyama toward Kiyomizu-Gojo Station.
- Take a southbound Keihan train that stops at Fushimi-Inari, then walk east to the shrine.
